Duke Energy will perform maintenance repair in areas that will affect residents in part of Manning throughout the early morning hours.
According to Manning Mayor Julia Nelson, the company informed the city earlier this evening that the maintenance will take place from 1-4 a.m.
"The Manning Police Department will be on patrol," she said. "If anyone has an emergency, please call 911."
Nelson said impacted areas could include the neighborhoods around Walmart, along with Boyce, Dickson, Dinkins, Depot and Church streets.
"Please check on your elderly (and) challenged family members to make sure they are aware," Nelson said. "And don't forget to charge up your mobile devices."
