Douglas Wesley Richardson, 58, of Salisbury, N.C., died Friday, April 17, 2015 at Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury.
Born July 2, 1956, in Sumter, he was a son of the late Robert Wesley and Jennie Ruth Dennis Richardson. He was preceded in death by his former wife, April Richardson.
The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord, N.C. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, officiated by the Rev. Eddie Hodge. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery on Camp Julia Road in Kannapolis.
Survivors include two daughters, Brandy Richardson of Salisburg and Amanda Richardson of Landis, N.C.; a brother, Robbie Richardson of Sumter; a sister, Marcia Baker of Sumter; two grandchildren, Cadence Perkins and Kyler Perkins; and three close friends, Nita McLeod and Norm and Betty Taylor.
