An 18-year-old woman told the Manning Police Department about 2:10 p.m. March 24 that her 20-year-old boyfriend choked her and began to strike her about her face while the couple was in the area of Kensington Place Apartments in Manning. According to reports, the woman told police that she picked her boyfriend up to take him to the apartment complex, and during the ride the two began arguing. She told him to get out of the vehicle and he refused and began choking and hitting her.
Police reported the woman had injuries to her nose and facial area, along with scratches on her neck.
