Though the S.C. Highway Patrol initially reported no injuries with a wreck between an SUV and a school bus that happened about 3:30 p.m. Friday, a source from the patrol said Friday night that six kids on the bus were taken to Clarendon Memorial Hospital for non-life threatening and minor injuries. "It was mostly for observation and to check them out," said Lance Cpl. David Jones. The wreck happened when a 15-year-old girl driving a Dodge SUV ran into the back of the bus on Greeleyville Highway while the bus was stopped to let off children. Jones said the minor was charged with driving too fast for conditions. She was wearing a seat belt and had no injuries.
