Clarendon Hall names Students of the Month

Posted
SUMMERTON - Clarendon Hall named two Students of the Month last week, one each for its high school and middle school. Haleigh Anderson, daughter of Jody and April Anderson, received the high school award, while Eighth-grader Kasey Hinman, daughter of Duane and Laura Hinman, received the middle school award. Haleigh is a sophomore involved in every aspect of the school, from sports to chorus to volunteer work with fundraisers. She is kind to other students, respectful to her teachers and diligent in her school work. Kasey is also involved in school activities. She is meticulous in her class work and courteous to all. Most importantly, she has a penchant for making people feel important and included. The Student of the Month Incentive Program was started to encourage students to excel in all they do. Nominations were submitted from faculty and staff in mid-September, and were then voted on the following week. The winners were announced Sept. 24 in chapel services at the school. Each of the winners received a prize basket, including a free movie pass donated by Steve Hendricks with Harmonyx Diagnostics in Memphis, Tenn.
