Melody Marie Todd Davis, 57, wife of Terry Lee Davis, died Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014.
Born Aug. 29, 1957, in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., she was the daughter of Thomas Todd (JoAnn) and Joan Johnson Critcher (John). She was a quality control inspector with Becton-Dickinson and she was a member of Clarendon Baptist Church.
Survivors besides her husband of Alcolu, her father and step mother of Marion, N.C., and her mother and step father of Asheville, N.C., include a stepson, Eric Davis of Old Fort, N.C.; a brother, Tim Todd of Spruce Pine, N.C.; a sister, Penny Vess of Marion, N.C.; three step-grandsons; and a number nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a stepson, Jeffrey Mark Davis.
A memorial service for Melody Marie Todd Davis will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014, in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike DeCosta officiating.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Stephens Funeral Home, and other times at the home, 1329 Chisum Trail in Alcolu.
