Maryland GOV stumps for Sheheen, Sellers

Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley came to Manning on Saturday morning to stump at Trinity AME Church on Rigby Street for governor's candidate Sen. Vincent Sheheen and lieutenant governor's candidate Rep. Bakari Sellers. He criticized Gov. Nikki Haley's record on education, touting his own in his home state, having turned the small state around during his tenure to be the No. 1 school system in the nation. He said South Carolina has a "bright potential," and said Sheheen and Sellers are the team to lead the state and urged voters to come out Nov. 4.
