Clarendon Hall's JV team picked up a win in its season opener

BLACKVILLE — The Clarendon Hall JV football team put a checkmark in the win column to open its season. The Saints picked up the 44-8 win against Jefferson Davis Academy on Thursday. Kameron Earles carried the weight on offense with nine carries for 79 yards and two touchdowns. Dylan Way picked up 78 yards off five carries and found the endzone rushing the ball twice. Way was also went 5-7 with 66 yards in the air and had one passing touchdown. Wide receiver Ben Corbett caught three balls from Way that produced 46 yards and one touchdown. On the defensive side of the ball, Bobby Ashba led the team with 14 tackles. Wells Robinson and Corbett had 10 tackles each. The Saints host Patrick Henry 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
