Millicent "Milli Gee" McDonald of Wash Davis Road in Summerton died about 6:15 p.m. Tuesday from injuries sustained in a jet ski accident on Monday evening. Authorities say McDonald, 19, and Florence resident Justin Walsh, 25, collided in the Taw Caw area of Lake Marion about 7:15 p.m. Monday, and that McDonald was airlifted to Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia.
EDITOR'S NOTE: Earlier reports from friends gave McDonald's name as Milli Gee, which a close family friend confirms is a nickname which everyone called her. We have changed the name in previous reports.
