Clarendon County Coroner Hayes Samuels said Thursday morning that Earthy Lee Starks McCray, 83, was found dead on Wednesday morning in her burned-out home at 1098 Goins Place near Summerton. McCray's body was found Wednesday morning, and has been sent for autopsy at the Medical University of South Carolina. Samuels expects the report back by Friday. He said the Clarendon County Sheriff's Office does not expect foul play in the fire.
