The staff of The Manning Times received four awards on Saturday afternoon at the South Carolina Press Association Annual Meeting and Awards ceremony for weekly newspapers. Production Manager Ted E. Spencer won three awards, including first places for Single Page One Design and Sports Page Design Portfolio. He also won a third place prize for Page One Design Portfolio. Former office manager Melissa McCoy won first place in column writing for her "Manning Mama" pieces.
