The Clarendon Hall Varsity and JV softball teams both defeated Jefferson Davis Academy on Friday night in Summerton. The Lady Saints won 8-5, with Gracyn Royce picking up the win and going 2-4. Holly Carlisle was 2-4, as was Brittany Bays, who had a double and three RBI. Shannon Corbett and Emily Brunson were also 2-4, and Corbett had a double. Jordan Carter was 3-4 with a double.
The JV Lady Saints won 16-6 in six innings, with Devyn Royce going 4-5 with a triple. Bailey Connors also went 4-5. Madison Kidd was 3-4 with a double, as was Lauren Pifer. Sydney Wells was 2-3. Madison Kidd picked up the win with seven strikeouts.
