Turbeville nurse accused of hiding drugs

A registered nurse at Turbeville Correctional Institution is facing accusations that she hid drugs from the inmates prescribed to them. Stephanie Turner was charged this week with seven counts of violating state pharmacy laws.

Arrest warrants filed this week alleged Turner concealed 24 tablets of 600 milligrams of Trileptal: 15 tablets of 5 milligrams of Abilify: 13 tablets of 20 milligrams of Celexa: 45 tablets of an unknown dosage of Prozac: 27 tablets of 10 milligrams Zyprexa and 132 tablets of an unknown amount of Remeron. Each drug has been prescribed to an inmate at the Turbeville Prison. 

Turner was granted a $7000.00 Personal Recognize bond on May 22nd and released from the Clarendon County Detention Center.
