A situation is currently evolving on American Avenue in Turbeville.
According to neighbors, two intruders broke in with intent to steal. Shortly after, the homeowner arrived at the house, reportedly saw a shadow, and ran out of the house.
The homeowner notified police, and they arrived with special forces from Clarendon and two additional counties, as well as SLED.
At the time of this posting, the two intruders are still boarded up inside, and shots have been fired from inside the home.
No injuries have been reported so far, and the situation is still ongoing.
