Theresa Irene Coker Hodge, 77, wife of Jack Dempsey Hodge, Jr., died Saturday, May 23, 2020, at McLeod Health Clarendon.
Born April 6, 1943, in Manning, she was a daughter of the late Edward Odell Coker and the late Dorothy Isabelle Barrett Coker. She was a member of the WMU and Paxville Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years of Sumter; three children, Jimmy Hodge (fiancée Crystal Boschell) of Sumter, Gregg Hodge (Dondi) of Humboldt, TN and Ann Sandifer (Charles) of Paxville; three brothers, Buddy Coker (Diane) of Manning, Eddie Coker of Sumter and David Coker (Michelle) of Manning; two sisters, Maxine Cook of Manning and Dottie Richburg (Lloyd) of Alcolu; four grandchildren, Christopher Hodge (Whitney) of Paxville, Mason Hodge and Jackson Hodge, both of Thomasville, GA, and Ashley Hodge of Sumter; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three children; and two nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2020, at Paxville Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Johnson officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be Deacons of Paxville Baptist Church.
