Suspects arrested, tied to ATM Theft and other burglaries

From the Clarendon County Sheriff's Office: On the morning of December 30, 2020, around 2:20am, the Shell Station located at 6181 Alex Harvin Hwy. in the Manning area of Clarendon County, was burglarized by two suspects driving a black Ford Ranger truck. The suspects hooked a chain to the door of the business and pulled the door off using the truck. The other suspect went inside the business with another chain and secured it around the ATM machine and back to the other chain which was hooked to the truck. At this time, the driver of the vehicle snatched the ATM out of the business and both subjects loaded it in the back of the truck. The subjects left going east on Alex Harvin Hwy towards I95. These suspects were subsequently arrested by the Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office on January 4, 2021 during an active burglary, at a business in their jurisdiction. The suspects have been identified as Anthony Deewayne Yourn (left) of Georgia and Shaun Pruitt (right) of North Carolina. Both suspects are tied with other burglaries in other South Carolina counties and will be facing charges in Clarendon County.
