South Carolina Highway Patrol reported a fatal collision on Barrineau Road last night.
The incident, which took place around 5 pm, Dec. 21, was a single-vehicle collision near Kirby Road, about 6.2 miles east of Turbeville.
The deceased’s name has not been released yet, and he was transported to Lake City Hospital where they succumbed to their injuries.

A 55-year-old Turbeville man died from injuries he sustained in a vehicle accident, according to Clarendon County Coroner Bucky Mock.
“Randall Chowning died at the Lake City hospital,” Mock said.
