Norman Harold Sefton, 85, of Due West, SC, formerly of Manning, husband of the late Mary Elizabeth Sefton, the love of his life, died Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Rhode Island to the late Edwin and Mildred Rondina Sefton.

A graduate of the University of Rhode Island, Mr. Sefton served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He retired as Director of Telecommunications at Duke University after many dedicated years. Golfing, playing bridge and ‘tinkering’ on various projects brought him much pleasure. Burial will be held in Beaufort National Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions, in memory of Mr. Sefton’s late wife, may be sent to the Susan G. Komen Foundation: Komen SC, 1064 Gardener Road, Suite 303, Charleston, SC 29407.
