The Manning High School Boys & Girls Track teams performed well in the 3A Lower State Championships. Below are some highlights:
Boys Track; Field team placed 3rd overall in the 3A Lower State Championship.
Girls Track; Field team placed 7th overall in the 3A Lower State Championship.
Girls
Ja’Lencia Griffin - 2nd place in the Girls 100m; 1st place in the Girls 200m dash (Girls 3A Lower state Champion in the 200m dash)
Delaney Frierson - 2nd place in the Girls 100m hurdles; 3rd place in the 400m hurdles
Boys
Emmery Mouzon - 2nd place in the Boys 110m; 400m hurdles; 4th place in the triple jump
Xavier Evans - 1st place in the Boys high jump, 5th place in long jump, 8th place in the Boys 400m dash with a time of 52.84 (Boys 3A Lower State Champion in the high jump)
