Johnnie Mae Corbett Repsher

Johnnie Mae Corbett Repsher, 83, widow of John Ervin Repsher, died Thursday, January 23, 2020, at her home.

Born October 1, 1936, in Manning, she was a daughter of the late John Allen Corbett and the late Ola Thigpen Corbett. She was a retired secretary with the Clarendon County Health Department and a member of Manning First Baptist Church. 

She is survived by a daughter, Donna R. Jackson (Ray) of Ninety Six; a son, Herman L. “Lin” Rainey, Jr. (Rhonda) of Manning; three sisters, Virginia Horner (Buddy) of Moncks Corner, Mary Lotwis (Bill) and Helen Weeks; a sister-in-law, JoAnn Corbett, all of Manning; six grandchildren, H. Lindon Rainey III (Ana) of Charlotte, North Carolina, Nicole R. Floyd (Rhett) of Manning, Kayla J. Kulhanek (Daniel) of Greenwood, Hannah Jackson, Wayne Jackson and Skyler Jackson, all of Ninety Six; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by the father of her children, Herman Lindon Rainey, Sr.; three sisters, Betty Lou Herring, Rounette Baker and Lois Kennedy; and a brother, John Corbett.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at Manning First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Phillip Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in Clarendon Memorial Gardens. 

Nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, January 27, 2020, at Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the residence, 1143 DeBerry Drive, Manning.
