JoAnn Squires Corbett

 JoAnn Squires Corbett, 80, widow of John Ashley Corbett, Sr., died Wednesday, October 21, 2020, at McLeod Health Clarendon.

 
Born May 11, 1940, in Marion, she was a daughter of the late Alton Squires and the late Sherwood Leola Johnson Squires Handberry and Walter C. Handberry. She was the former co-owner and operator of Quality Printers, was a member of the Garden Club, Clarendon Pilot Club, and the Clarendon County Republican Party. She attended New Start Community Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed decorating and gathering the family for all holidays and lived for her grandchildren. Affectionately known as “Granny” by all children, she will be missed for her quick smile, kind heart and wonderful cooking.
 
She is survived by three children, Kathy Kline (Richard), Sharon Corbett Lowman, both of Columbia, and Johnny Corbett (Von) of Manning; nine grandchildren, Zachary Evan Kline, Ella Joanne Kline, Anna Rose Kline, William Herbert Lowman (Mary Chris), Jillian Taylor Lowman, Anthony Drew Lowman, John A. “Corey” Corbett III, Chase Liscio Corbett and Summer Lynn Corbett; three sisters-in-law, Mary Lotwis (Bill), Helen Weeks, both of Manning, and Virginia Horne (Buddy) of Goose Creek; and several nieces and nephews.
 
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 23, 2020, in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home with the Rev. Donna Green officiating. Burial will follow in the Manning Cemetery.
 
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
 
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2020, at Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the residence, 5205 Silver Road, Manning.
