Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Mark Hughes of Manning announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelsey Jade Hughes, also of Manning, to Joseph Louis Brunson III of Manning, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Louis Brunson Jr., also of Manning.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Franklin Hughes and Mr. and Mrs. Louie Herman Feagin, all of Sumter. She graduated from the University of South Carolina Upstate as an early childhood major. She is currently pursuing a master of education degree in reading and literacy at Walden University. She is employed as a kindergarten teacher with Walker-Gamble Elementary School in New Zion.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the Helen King Brookes of Sumter and the late Joseph Louis Brunson and Mr. and Mrs. William E. Glasscock, all formerly of Sumter. He is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business administration in the University of South Carolina Aiken Palmetto Program. He is employed as a concrete plant operator with American Material Co. in Sumter.
The couple have planned the wedding for Saturday, June 9, 2018.
