A Hartsville woman died Monday morning following a collision on Interstate 95 in Clarendon County, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol and Clarendon County Coroner Jacqueline Blackwell.

The crash occurred at about 7:11 a.m. April 28 near the 127-mile marker, approximately eight miles north of Manning. Master Trooper William Bennett said a 2022 Ford pickup truck and a 2017 Harley Davidson motorcycle were both traveling southbound when the pickup struck the motorcycle from behind.

The motorcycle’s passenger, identified as Morghan Noel Gore, 30, of Hartsville, died at the scene from her injuries, Blackwell confirmed. An autopsy is scheduled later this week.
