Filming delayed in Summerton

Mayor Mac Bagnal today announced that the feature film, “Bull Street” that was scheduled to begin filming this week in Summerton, has been delayed due to unforeseen
circumstances. “While we are disappointed that filming has been delayed, we remain optimistic that the film will return,” said Bagnal.

In a statement issued by Up the Road Films, writer and director Lynn Dow said, “We have been working hard to bring this story to life and to spotlight Summerton, a town that is dear to me… we are regrouping and
actively working to get back on track. “This film has a spiritual meaning to me, it’s the story of my family and my community. I remain faithfully dedicated to bring this story to fruition,” said Dow. “Thank you for your hospitality, warm welcome, and patience. We will be back.”

The town of Summerton has assured the team at Up the Road Films that it remains in full support of “Bull Street” the movie. “We are in full support of this film and welcome the cast and crew when they return. A warm
southern welcome awaits,” stated Bagnal.
