The collision happened on I-95 Southbound near mile marker 121 around 2:30 P.M.
The pair were driving a 2019 Chrysler 300, when they drove off the left side of the highway, striking the median.
“Dayremis Rios 20 years old of Miami, Fla. was the driver of the vehicle and her mother, Digna Rios 61 years old, also of Miami, was a passenger in the left rear seat of the car,” Mock said. “Both died at the scene from head trauma and multiple blunt force trauma.”
