Donna Avin Brandon, 75, wife of George E. Brandon, died Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at Pocotaligo River Health and Rehab.
Born July 15, 1948, in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Marshall LeRoy Avin and the late Lucille Davis Avin. She loved the beach and loved to travel. After retirement, she and George traveled in their RV for nine years covering all the lower 48 states, Canada and Mexico.
Surviving in addition to her husband of Manning are two daughters, Cindy Pearson Falls (Robert) of Manning and Debbie Pearson (Robert Taylor) of Lexington; two step-daughters, Georgetta McGuire (Frankie) of Rock Hill and Sherry Brandon of Rock Hill; four grandchildren, Taylor Falls Baxley (Brandon), Grady McWhite, Blake Fenters and Trey Falls; five step-grandchildren, Brandon Gross; Jonathan McGuire; Cayce McGuire; Zachary Brandon and Lynsie Brandon; two great grandchildren, Kolbrynn McWhite and Sutton Baxley; two step-great grandchildren; one sister, Shirl Jowers (Gerald) of Columbia; a brother, Tim Avin (Sue) of Manning; four nephews; and two special friends, Gloria Kay Phillips and Sandra Falls.
Services will be private.
