Clarendon Hall takes second place in statewide competition

On Wednesday, November 20, Clarendon Hall Students participated in the SCISA (South Carolina Independent School Association) Battle of the Books held at Thomas Sumter Academy in Rembert. The Saints were one of 17 schools participating from across the state. Students participating were Juniors: Gabriel Collier, Henik Matarwala, and Nickolas Pierce and Freshmen: Zhanay Mcoy and Harley Ryan.

Clarendon Hall finished second in the statewide competition. The students were sponsored by Media Specialist Susan Oswald and accompanied to the event by Head of School Kelley Wannamaker.

As one of the most well-established schools in the area, Clarendon Hall has provided superior elementary and secondary education in a non-denominational Christian environment since 1965. Clarendon Hall is an independent co-educational school for kindergarten three year olds through twelfth grade. In addition to being a founding member of the South Carolina Independent School Association (SCISA), Clarendon Hall is accredited by AdvancEd/SACS (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools).
