Clarendon Hall Softball defeats Jefferson Davis in double-header

Clarendon Hall improved to 11-1 on the season and 9-0 in region play after defeating Jefferson Davis Academy in a double header Tuesday. The Lady Saints won game 1, 7-6 in extra innings. Mandy Wells picked up the win in relief of Colleen McIntosh. The two combined for 7 strikeouts, 2 walks, giving up only 2 hits. McIntosh also lead the offense with 2 hits and 2 RBI’s. Bailey Corbett and Wells each hat 2 hits and each had a double . McKenley Wells and Olivia Wilson Each had a hit. In Game 2 The Lady saints defeated the Raiders 6-2. Mandy Wells lead the offense with 2 hits with a double and 2 RBI’s. Colleen McIntosh had 2 hits with 2 RBI’s and Bailey Corbett added 2 hits. Maggie Harrington and Olivia Wilson each had a hit. Mandy Wells picked up the win in the circle. The Lady Saints host Florence Christian Thursday in Summerton At 5:00 pm.
