Clarendon County GOP host Christmas party

Posted

The Clarendon County GOP would like to extend an invitation for the public to join them at their Christmas party on Dec 12.

Moye Graham wrote a letter to the public inviting them to this event, the letter reads:

"It is that time of the year again. The Clarendon County GOP Christmas party has arrived, and it is going to be a good one."

We will not be discussing much on the political side tomorrow as we want to keep it in line with the season of Christmas.  So many organizations and business are trying to be so politically correct that they overlook what December 25th means.  It is the day that is set aside for the celebration of the birth of Baby Jesus.  We Republicans still celebrate his birthday and the season of giving.  We will have Door Prizes to give away until they are gone.  Pastor John Matthews and the Church Ladies are going to have Festive Food for any Palate.  Okay I had Google help me with that last word.  Don't worry, the food will be good.  The music will be also.  First up will be the Ladies from Rock Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Manning.  They will be playing the Tambourine and singing.  Might even be some dancing by them.  They are one of my favorites.  I love to visit their church and Pastor Leon Winn when they are scheduled to perform which is pretty much any Sunday.  We will also have part of the Redemption Crossing Blue Grass Gospel Band playing and singing a variety of Christmas songs.  The last one will be a sing a long Merry Christmas in case you want to practice ahead of time.  My son Sumter and also Robert (Frank) Small will be leading this.
