Waste Management has converted the Manning residential route to a 1 man operation. Here are some tips to keep in mind.
The trash can needs to be at the road, close to the curb, and clear of objects, with the lid towards the street. The wheels and handle should be facing away from the road.
Make sure your trash can is NOT next to mailboxes, light poles, or in the middle of your yard.
Do not place anything on top or the side of your trash can.
If you have multiple trash cans, please leave space between them so the machine arm can grab each trash can.
Due to this change, the lid of your trash can may not close after it is emptied.
