Tanisha C. Williams is a graduating senior of Morris College. She is a 4x Dean’s list Scholar as well as an 3x O.R. Reuben Scholar. (maintaining a 3.0 or higher GPA.) Majoring in Mass Communications Tanisha has excelled in her field immensely where she now also provides the stories and photos for the college newspaper and covers atleast 5 events a day. Some events included “ C-Span Political News, Presidential Candidate Corey Booker SC Visit, and Forrest Gump’s Byron Minns Visit to name a few. She has been featured in the College Newsletter a few times as well as have her work published in the Newsletter as well. Tanisha has accumulated over 25+ Scholarships and Awards during her duration at this institution. Ms. Williams is apart of various organizations such as Sigma Tau Delta International Honor Society, Phi Beta Lambda Business Fraternity, Inc. and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. She actively participates in community service all year round with an ambitious mindset and a loving heart with all of her organizations and more. Tanisha has also held numerous Queen titles over the years. She is the daughter of the late Cheryl A Williams and Micah Hatcher. She admires her Aunt, Marie Hatcher as a mother figure. Tanisha’s motto is “ Get Uncomfortable.” Nothing great ever comes from one comfort zones. Ms Williams will be graduating from college with two honors this year.
