CCSD honors top student achievements at May board meeting

The Clarendon County School District celebrated academic excellence during its May 5 Board of Trustees meeting by recognizing middle and high school students for outstanding performance on standardized assessments.

Held at the District Office in Manning, the event spotlighted 2025 Junior Scholars and students who earned perfect scores on their Fall End-of-Course (EOC) Exams. Superintendent Dr. Shawn Johnson praised the students and their support systems.

“These awards represent more than just high scores,” Johnson said. “They are a reflection of the academic growth happening in classrooms across our district. We are proud of our students’ achievements and equally proud of the educators and families who support them. This success is shared.”
