Ann Rush Cole, 80, wife of Donald Duane Cole, died Sunday, May 3, 2020, at her home.
Born December 9, 1939, in Burlington, North Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Fred Rush and the late Mary Louise McElveen Rush. She was a member of New Harmony Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her husband of Alcolu; two children, Ann Marie Purdy (Kell) of Vestal, New York and Linda Nelson (Jimmy Dunbar) of Alcolu; a brother, Hugh Rush of Lexington, North Carolina; and eleven grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Jessie Rhodes; and a brother, Joe Rush.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
