footballGREENWOOD – Clarendon Hall upset previously undefeated Greenwood Christian by a score of 40-30 on Friday night to improve to 4-1 in conference play and take over second place in the region standings.

The Saints took the opening kickoff and drove right down the field, scoring on a 17-yard Gavin Allan run. Golf course reports vandalism, stolen property

Crime-ReportsThe groundskeepers for a course on Players Course Drive in Manning told deputies about 9:30 a.m. Sept. 19 that someone appeared to have driven a vehicle on the course, breaking a ball washer and several signs sometime the night before. The groundskeepers also reported that three flag markers were missing. The value of the damages and the missing items was assessed at $950.

LMA falls to Hammond

LMA vs Hammond 2A big first half for Hammond set the tone in tonight’s matchup at Laurence Manning Academy as the Swampcats fell to the Skyhawks, 37-7.

Rain fell as steadily as the yellow flags but LMA was unable to gain momentum.
