The family is receiving friends at the home, 488 Third Loop Road in Florence.
Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, 2016, at St. Matthew AME Church in Summerton, where the Rev. Benjamin Dwight serves as pastor.

George “Adam” Keller, 71, widower of Mary Hanks Keller, died Friday, Nov. 11, 2016, at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia.
Born Nov. 29, 1944, in Elloree, he was a son of the late Walter Keller and Hilda Shoemaker Keller. He worked for the South Carolina Department of Transportation for more than 40 years and he was a member of Second Baptist Church of Manning.

SUMTER – Marjorie Harrison Montalbano, 88, died Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016, at Palmetto Health Tuomey.
Born in Florida, she was a daughter of the late Frank Harrison and Blanche Dennis Harrison Cauthen.
Mrs. Montalbano was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She was a former board member of NAMI. She was a retired Guidance Counselor with Sumter School District 17 and was also a history and French teacher.

Gary Miller McLeod, 73, died Sunday, August 14, 2016, at his home.
Born November 28, 1942, he was a son of the late Jacob Lawson McLeod, Sr. and the late Dorothy Elizabeth Miller McLeod. He was a US Navy veteran, a farmer and a member of Manning United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his sister, Dorothy Jean McLeod “Jeannie” Gasque; a niece, Merritt Smith of Houston, Texas; and numerous cousins.

Wilma Gamble Odom, 94, widow of Robert Belton Odom, died Sunday, August 14, 2016, at Davis Health Care in Wilmington, North Carolina.
Born January 31, 1922, in Manning, she was a daughter of the late James Edward Gamble, Sr. and the late Maude Weatherford Gamble. Wilma served as a WWII US Navy nurse and she also was a registered nurse for almost 60 years, having worked for Dr. Joe Henry King and Clarendon Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Manning United Methodist Church and the Nell Wells Sunday School class.

Easton Oliver Branham, 2, beloved son of Jeffrey Otto Branham and Heather Atkinson Branham, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2016, at McLeod Hospital (PICU).
Easton was born December 18, 2013, in Sumter. He loved dirt bikes, dinosaurs, sharks and books of all kinds. He was a very vibrant child and he had a light about him that touched many lives.

MANHATTAN, New York – James Edward “Bubba” Washington, 74, died on Friday, June 10, 2016, in Manhattan.
He was a son of the late McKinley Sr. and Mattie Bell Peterson Washington.

Margaret Faye Brunson Sifford, 78, of Salisbury, was transferred from the Church Militant to the Church Triumphant Jan. 2, 2016, at The Laurels of Salisbury, where she had been a resident since August 2014.
Born Oct. 7, 1937, in Clarendon County, “Faye” was the second daughter of the late William Alva Brunson and Margaret Stuckey Brunson.
Faye graduated from Summerton High School in Clarendon County, graduating in 1955. She received her bachelor of science degree in elementary education from Winthrop College in Rock Hill in 1959. Her first teaching position was Bradley Elementary School in Columbia.

Jean Deyorio Smith, 69, formerly of Turbeville and Irmo, died Monday, Nov. 16, 2016, at her home in Tampa, Florida.
Born in Manchester, Connecticut, she moved to Tampa as a child. She received a bachelor’s degree at the University of South Florida and worked as an elementary school teacher in Tampa for almost 30 years. She worked at Lake Murray Gymnastics, and enjoyed volunteering, gardening and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Hugh Smith of Turbeville, and their infant son.

Wendell Mitchell Levi Jr., M.D., F.A.C.S., surgeon, farmer, naturalist, died at 88, on Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2015, from a brief battle with cancer, at his home surrounded by family.
Born on Sept. 13, 1927, he was a son of the late Wendell Mitchell Levi and Bertha London Levi of Sumter. He graduated from Sumter High School Class of 1944. He briefly attended The Citadel, before enlisting at the age of 17 in the U.S. Army Infantry. He was on board a ship en route to the Japanese invasion when Hiroshima was bombed. SUMMERTON – Leon Benbow, 71, was born Sunday, Aug. 13, 1944, in Clarendon County, to the late LeRoy and Reatus C. Benbow.
Leon was educated in the public schools of Clarendon County. He was employed by the South Carolina Department of Transportation, where he retired after 33 years. He was a dedicated member of Historic Taw Caw Missionary Baptist Church, where he served faithfully as a member of the deacon’s ministry.
