Lake Wind Advisory in effect for Clarendon

The National Weather Service out of Columbia has issued a Lake Wind Advisory for Clarendon and surrounding areas, effective from 11 a.m. Sunday through 8 a.m. Monday.
Winds will be 15 to 20 knots from the southwest with gusts about 30 knots Winds shift west later tonight. Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will create hazardous conditions for small craft. A Lake Wind Advisory indicates that winds will cause rough chop on area lakes. Small boats will be especially prone to capsizing.
