The Swampcats Varsity Baseball team Defeats Wilson Hall In Blow Out Fashion

LMA defeated Wilson Hall 11-1 on Wednesday thanks to a timely six runs in a big first inning. The Swampcats batters contributing to the big inning included Aaron Carlton, Andrew Boyd, Chase Lee, and Burgess Jordan, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning. LMA opened up scoring in the first inning. Carlton drew a walk, scoring one run. Boyd led things off on the pitcher's mound for the Swampcats. He allowed no hits and no runs over four innings, striking out five and walking one. Wise Segars started the game for Wilson Hall. He allowed two hits and six runs over one-third of an inning. Tate Sistare and Harrison Hudson entered the game as relief, throwing three innings and two-thirds of an inning respectively. Boyd went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead the Swampcats in hits. LMA didn't commit a single error in the field. Carlton had the most chances in the field with five. Hudson led Wilson Hall with one hit in two at bats. Wilson Hall was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Segars had the most chances in the field with three.
