LMA JV Swampcats defeat Florence Christian

An eight-run second inning led the Laurence Manning Academy junior varsity baseball team to an 11-1 victory on Friday. LMA JV ‘s big inning was driven by walks by Cam Branham and Austin Geddings, a single by Jackson Campbell, by Henry Black, and a double by Mickey Jordan.
LMA JV got things started in the first inning. LMA JV scored one run when Keaton Wildes singled.
LMA JV notched eight runs in the second inning. Branham, Geddings, Black, Jordan, and Campbell each had RBIs in the big inning.
Campbell toed the rubber for LMA JV . He allowed two hits and one run over three innings, striking out four.
Clayton Bochette was on the mound for Florence Christian. He allowed four hits and six runs over one and one-third innings. Bradley Shelley, Benjamin Baggete, and Pierson Gray each contributed in relief for Florence Christian.
LMA JV totaled 12 hits. Campbell, Bryce Acord, Jordan, Branham, and Jackson Clemmons each managed multiple hits for LMA JV . Clemmons, Branham, Jordan, Acord, and Campbell each managed two hits to lead LMA JV . LMA JV was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Geddings made the most plays with seven.
Denzel Seigler led the team with 4 outs from his outfield. Cam Branham threw two scoreless innings and Gage Bowen threw a scoreless final inning.
