NWS releases Fire Danger Statement for Clarendon, central SC

The National Weather Service out of Columbia has issued a Special weather Statement effective through 7 p.m.. Friday. The Fire Danger Statement predicts that minimum relative humidity values will fall to about 23 percent this afternoon, and that westerly winds will gust about 25 mph. This combination plus low fuel moisture values will result in increased fire danger this afternoon into this evening.
