Lady Saints defeat Andrew Jackson in double-header

The Clarendon Hall varsity softball team played Andrew Jackson Monday in a double-header in Summerton. The Lady Saints defeated the Confederates in Game 1 by a score of 4-0. Amberly Way picked up the win on the mound with 10 strike-outs, allowing just two hits in the five-inning game. Lauren Pifer led on defense for the Lady Saints, along with Hannah Corbett and Hadleigh McIntosh, all of whom had two hits. Pifer picked up two RBIs. Olivia Wilson had one hit with an RBI. In Game 2, the Lady Saints picked up the victory by a score of 8-1. Amberly Way picked up the win on the mound with six strikeouts, allowing just one hit in the five-inning game. Amberly Way led the team on offense, going 2-3 and picking up three RBIs. Lauren Pifer went 2-4 with three runs scored. Olivia Wilson picked up a hit with an RBI.
