LMA JV Baseball with a BIG WIN!

Bryce Acord was in the zone on Thursday, tallying five hits and leading Laurence Manning Academy Swampcats JV to a 21-6 win over PAC.  Acord singled in the first, singled in the first inning, the second inning, singled in the fourth, and singled in the fifth. LMA collected 16 hits and PAC had eight in the high-scoring affair. LMA got things started in the first inning.  Austin Geddings singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run. THE Swampcats scored ten runs in the second inning.  The offensive onslaught was led by Geddings, Cam Branham, Henry Black, Jackson Brown, TJ Hicks, and  Acord, all driving in runs in the inning. Branham toed the rubber for LMA. He lasted one inning, allowing one hit and zero runs while striking out two and walking zero. Jackson Clemmons threw the following 4 innings only allowing one earned run. Mickey Jordan closed the game in the final frame. LMA tallied 16 hits in the game.  Acord, Mickey Jordan, Brown, Geddings, and Branham all managed multiple hits for Laurence Manning.  Acord led the Swampcats with five hits in five at bats. PAC totaled eight hits in the game.  Bryant and Porter each managed multiple hits for PAC.
The Swampcats improve to 2-0 on the season and play next Friday at Ben Lippen at 5pm.
