The senior class of Scott’s Branch Middle/High School will host a Senior Extravaganza on February 9. There will be singing, dancing, comedy skits and more performed by Scott’s Branch seniors as well as local talent.

The coordinators of the Senior Extravaganza are Xa’Maquia Jackson and Amonte Brown, seniors of Scott’s Branch. They welcome the entire community to attend this event.

“We ensure that the community will see that greatness is evolving through our hallways, and students are setting the path for a bright future,” said Brown, who further assures their performance will provide entertainment and joy to an open audience.

“Many of our seniors are spending extra hours after school and out of school to make sure everything is in place. Everyone is going out of their way to make sure this event will be fantastic,” said Jackson. “We are trying to make the class of 2019 unforgettable.”

The event will be from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Summerton Cultural Art Center on 12 South Church St. in Summerton. Admission for adults is five dollars, children 4-12 years old are three dollars, and kids three years old and under have free entry. All proceeds will be used to help fund the school’s senior class trip.

Acts are not limited to only seniors of Scott’s Branch Middle/High School. The community is also encouraged to join in and showcase their talents as well. A $10 entry fee must be paid in order to secure a spot in the show. For more information, please contact (803) 410-3014 or (803) 458-0749.
