Manning Chapter AK of P.E.O. is pleased to announce that while we are still planning on awarding only two, the P.E.O. scholarships are now available to all public and private high schools in Clarendon County. All college bound senior women are encouraged to apply. P.E.O is a philanthropic organization where women celebrate the advancement of women, educate women through scholarships, grants, awards, loans and stewardship of our privately owned Cottey College for Women; and motivate women to achieve their highest aspirations. For the past three years, local Chapter AK of P.E.O. has provided scholarships for graduates from Manning High School and Laurence Manning Academy. All funding for these local scholarships comes from our annual yard sale and private donations. This year's yard sale will be held on October 20, 2018, beginning at 8:00 a.m. at the Manning Presbyterian Church at 223 North Brooks Street. Scholarship requirements, applications and information about our other financial aid opportunities will be available by November 1, 2018, and may be obtained in the guidance office of each high school.
