Carl Troy Kidwell, 56, died Thursday, September 27, 2018, at his home.
Born May 5, 1962, in Manning, he was a son of Stephany Rosemary Justice and the late Edward Payne Kidwell. He was a US Army veteran, an avid musician, guitar player and he was a member of the String Club.
He is survived by his mother of Manning; a son, David Kidwell of Colorado; a brother, James “Choo Choo” Justice (Diane) of Cross; two sisters, Paulette Sterba (Lloyd) of Oregon and Beverly Horton (John) of Kershaw; and special friend and cousin, Adam Rath.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, October 1, 2018, in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home with the Rev. Ervin Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilson Community Cemetery at Union United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 2 to 3 p.m. at Stephens Funeral Home.
