Nebraska Edward “Butch” Moore II, 80, husband of MaryAnne Grayson Moore, died Thurs. March 1, 2018, at his home in Summerton.

He was born Dec. 3, 1937, in Florence. He was a son of the late Ned Palmer Moore and the late Kathleen Wilson Moore. He was a US Army veteran and a member of American Legion Post 35 in Summerton. He was a retired farmer and a member of Summerton Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of Summerton; a son, Nebraska Edward “Brac” Moore III (Stephanie) of Brunswick, GA; a daughter-in-law, Jodi Woods Moore of Three Forks, MT; a brother, Palmer Moore of Timmonsville; and five grandchildren, Grayson McCray Moore, Nebraska E. Moore IV, Chase Mason Moore, Cole Woods Moore and Branna Kaycee Carey Moore.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Mason Palmer Bethea Moore.

A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Sun. March 4 at the Summerton Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Billy Carlisle, Rev. Bob Ashba and Rev. Randy Bowers officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Grayson, Mike Failmezger, Jason Corbett, Brian Saltus, Dickie Felder, Lou Saltus, Leon Yarborough, Bun Yarborough, Truett Dick, Gene Wells, Horace Green and Harold Truesdale.

The family will receive friends at the residence, 1664 Jack Touchberry Road, Summerton.

Memorials may be made to Summerton Baptist Church at 215 E. Main Street, Summerton.
