Ann King Marsh

Ann King Marsh, age 83, beloved wife of the late Robert Franklin Marsh, died on Monday Feb. 19 at her residence.

Born in Sumter, she was the daughter of the late Harold Francis King and the late Wilma Player King Cox. Mrs. Marsh will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Manning.

She is survived by one daughter, Terrey Marsh (Mike Streath) and four sons; Robert Kelley Marsh (Jennifer), Harold Frank Marsh (Lisa), Bert Lyn Marsh (Rita) and Charles Edward Marsh, as well as a daughter-in-love, DeDe Barrow Marsh. She has three sisters, Helen King McLeod (Lawrence), Patsy Lee Cox Dees, and Pamela Jean Cox Davis (Jimmy), along with two brothers, George Gary Cox (Virginia) and Edward Leroy Cox (Roxie), nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She has numerous loving cousins, among them are Ferrell King, Bill King and Kappy King Nickel. She will also be missed by her beloved cat, Mae.

In addition to her parents and her beloved husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Harold Warren King (Loren Lacewell King).

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Sat. Feb. 24 at the Second Baptist Church of Manning. Burial will follow in the Sumter Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 pm Sat. Feb. 24 at the church.
