The Sumter County Sheriff's Office announced early Tuesday afternoon that a 75-year-old woman reported missing on Monday had been found safe in Waynesboro, Mississippi.
Judith A. Cole was last seen in Pickens at 2:15 p.m. Monday. It is reported she used her credit card at a store there and asked for directions back to Sumter. Deputies said her credit card recorded another use in birmingham, Alabama on Tuesday morning.
