MANNING- Clifton Benbow, 80, husband of Helen Williams Benbow, died Monday, January 22, 2018 at Blue Ridge Nursing Home in Sumter, SC. He was born September 11, 1937, a son of the late Monroe Benbow and Emma Lemon Benbow. Funeral Services for Mr. Benbow will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, January 27th at Hayes F. Samuels, Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 N. Church Street, Manning, SC.  Rev. David Wood, Jr., Presiding; Rev. Henry Otis Blackwell, Eulogist; Rev. Roberta Pendergrass and Rev. Come meet Badger at A Second Chance Animal Shelter! He is a 5-month-old, male, gray tabby cat. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines and has tested negative for feline leukemia. He is quite the character when he’s expressing his wild, playful side, but he is very affectionate and doesn’t seem to mind being held. The current adoption fee for cats is only $50 with an approved application. Clarendon Hall varsity boys picked up another region win over Andrew Jackson Academy in Ehrhart tuesday by a score of  82-63. Zyan Gilmore paced four Saints in double figures with 30 points and 7 rebounds. Kylic Horton added 15 points. Dylan Way totaled 14 points and 5 rebounds and Tyrese Mitchum had 14 points and 7 rebounds. She loves attention from everyone and enjoys being brushed. Her adoption fee is $50 with an approved application. Shelby is 2-year-old female, lab-hound mix weighing about 40 pounds. She is current on all of her vaccinations, has been spayed and has tested negative for heart worms. Shelby has come a long way from where she used to be. She is doing wonderfully and is just as sweet as ever. She is ztill a little shy when she first meets you, but she will warm up in no time.
