The family of the late Dr. H.P. "Mutt" Bozard, a longtime member of the Clarendon County Fire Department, presented County Fire Chief Frances Richbourg with a plaque in Bozard's memory on Tuesday night during the CCFD annual banquet. Pictured with Richbourg are Bozard's widow, Lynne; his daughter, Ashton; his son, Bo; and his daughter-in-law, Amy. Bozard died July 17, 2017, after more than 30 years of service with the department, the last 16 of those as battalion chief. To honor his service, his family established the H.P. "Mutt" Bozard Firefighter Assistance Fund, which will provide aid to those Clarendon County firefighters and their families in times of hardship or necessity. (Photos by Phil Lackey).
