The Sumter Police Department is reaching out to the public for help in identifying two men who allegedly shot and killed a Manning Avenue store employee late Friday evening.
Reports indicate that the two men entered the Save-Mart Grocery on Manning Avenue about 6:59 p.m. Friday. They began firing at a store employee and then fled the store. The victim, who died at the scene, has not been identified.
Anyone with information is asked to call (803) 436-2700. Callers may remain anonymous, and a cash reward could be available for tips that lead to arrests and convictions.
